Dr. Andy Jennings (British) - Small Carnivore Ecologist

Andy is a member of the IUCN/SSC Small Carnivore Specialist Group. For over 17 years, he has worked on small carnivore projects in Sulawesi, the USA, and South America. Andy is currently a co-leader of the Malaysia Carnivore Project and is also undertaking a GIS study of Asian civet and mongoose species. He has published several papers on small carnivores and is co-author of the Viverridae, Herpestidae and Mustelidae book chapters of the Handbook of the Mammals of the World. Volume 1: Carnivores (2009).

 

Dr. Géraldine Veron (French) - Small Carnivore Systematics Biologist

Géraldine works at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in France on the molecular systematics, morphology, ecology, and conservation of the Viverridae (civets, genets, and oyans) and Herpestidae (mongooses). She is a member of the IUCN/SSC Small Carnivore Specialist Group and a co-leader of the Malaysia Carnivore Project. Geraldine has published over 30 scientific papers, written several books, and is a co-author of the Viverridae and Herpestidae book chapters of the Handbook of the Mammals of the World. Volume 1: Carnivores (2009).

 

Prof. Dr. Zubaid Akbar (Malaysian) - Researcher/Lecturer

Zubaid works at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He has collaborated on long-term studies on bat ecology and supervised student projects on the ecology of Malaysian small mammal species.
